Dear Aunt Martha we have built 6 houses .5 of the colonists have died. The houses were hard to make. My dad felled the wood and me mom and Alice built the houses. two of the colonists went out hunting and got lost in the woods and died. one of our tools was stolin by an Indian. November13,1620

we are leaving England because... king Henry is making us warship God in a way that does not teach us English traits. we agreed to leave because we weren't happy. so we moved to Holland. me, mom, dad, and my sister Alice are all coming on the boat. we are getting ready to go on the boat. we are leaving september 6,1620. sincerely,Henry |
