I give thanks to my family because they keep me company when I am lonely and my parents buy me clothes and food to eat. I am thankful for my home because if I didn't have a home I would be cold and wet every night. I am thankful for my friends because without my friends I would always be lonely. I am thankful that my parents have enough money to buy me 3 meals a day to eat. I am thankful that I have a car so I don't have to walk everywhere. I am thankful that I am educated. I am thankful that I have money to buy stuff with. I am thankful for my dog because he makes me happy.

We have just returned from a 2 day trading expedition. We traded with three different native tribes. The natives appeared to be able to trade. We insisted that we get beaver skin. We returned home to are colony with 1 barrel full of beaver skins. So far our tribe has lost 33 tribe members so we still have 70 colonists left.
Today I learned about the Wampanog tribe. I learned that mashoons are there type of boat and they can hold 20-40 men. Mashoons are made out of white pine. Only the men fished and hunted. The women cooked, gardened, made clothes, and stayed home. There were no set meal times so they could eat whenever they wanted. They ate beans, corn, moose quail, and herbs. They didn't have positive history with white men. The white men a while ago sold them into slavery and brought diseases to them they even wiped out an entire colony. The Wampanog helped the pilgrims survive. The Wampanog were also scred of the pilgrims. today we had to make houses for everybody in our village we had to get wood and chop it down. then we had to put all of the wood together and build a house. at first it was very hard to work as a team. then once we got it figured out we could make the houses really quikly. Inv the end we were able to create 5 houses.
