So Thanksgiving is coming up soon which also means you usually share what your thankful for with your family. By the way, do you know how many things you're thankful for? Well I guess that would be a lot but, you might not be able think of all of them. Here are my top 3 things I'm thankful for.
#1. My happy family, because they are very kind and help me whenever I need help. #2 The safe environment, because I love being some where safe and a beautiful town. #3 My house, because it's stable, it has space for all my family, and it's got all I need to be safe and happy.

I've just returned from a tiring trading adventure. At first we were trading with the first tribe and it didn't go so well, but then I moved onto the next 2 tribes, and we got lots of beaver furs, 32 to be exact. They liked the more colorful and metallic materials like glass and other things like that. We were surprised when we saw the Natives wearing some animal furs and pieces on their clothing that looked like they were sewed. When we wanted to trade with the Natives, they thought we were there to harm them at first. We showed the Natives we wanted to trade with them and they relaxed. Then we all boarded the ship and went back to where our homes were.
While sailing to another part of "The New World" we saw a wonderful sight. There was something yellow that I thought was a crop. We took some, but became scared because we thought the Native Americans might be angry at our colony. After we talked it over we thought, " Well they have women and kids like us, maybe they won't be as bad as we think they are." Then we all boarded back on the ship.
Today in this new wonderful land we started our construction. The colony I'm in has made 6 houses. The people who didn't have houses stayed on the ship, but 8 people died. Building a house was hard at first. It was a long process: First we collected the wood, next some of the pilgrims started cutting the wood, after that we gathered that wood and built the houses, finally we added the door on the house and put the windows in, and we were finished with that 1 house.
Our colony in this new world did not have a government when we arrived here. We elected Clark Richmond ( Me) as our colony's leader. I will be responsible for protecting us and giving us fair rules. After all the pilgrims signed the agreement, we went ashore and set up sentries because we needed someone to watch outside and keep the colony safe.
Crossing the great ocean was quite the adventure. At first it was rolling smooth, but then it changed and our trip to "The New World" became harsh on the seas. At one point I became frightened when the ship started to rock back and fourth. Life on the ship was hard and dangerous, because of the harsh weather on the seas, the lack of the food, and the choice of food. The journey on the ocean took 65 long days at sea. When I figured out that we were on land I was so relieved that we were in "The New World."
My name is Clark Richmond, and I am 35 years old. In my family there are 5 people. We have been living in Holland for 11 years now, and I am unhappy. We are unhappy with our life in Holland, because we never get paid for what we deserve. We wish we could live in England, but it's is not possible because we have to follow the rules of King James religion here in England.
Today while visiting Peru I learned that most people speak Spanish. Did you know that the Machu Picchu is 7,792 feet tall? That is really high and hard to climb all the way up. I was so exited to the Sacred Valley which is an area of highlands stretching roughly 60 kilometers wide. Another cool thing I learned about Peru is that the sport surfing is very popular there. Peru's landmarks are very different then the U.S.A. I couldn't believe how dry it was in Peru. I am looking forward to coming back to school.
