Dear cousin seaya We made it to our first successful feast but we lost 40 colonists. We got 30 acres of food witch is really good and we won't starve to death. We had a huge amount of corn we had a little bit of beans. We got no barrels of fur and now the people who helped us go on the trip are not helping us. We got no peace treaty with the native so we still are afraid that we might get attacked. We got religious freedom just like the pilgrims did. I think that we did worse than the pilgrims did. Dear cousin seaya We are starting to build our homes slowly and we are all mostly sick and ill. I am starving and other people are to. twenty two people died from sickness, illness, and starvation. I am afraid that i might die like the other strangers that died. We are running low on food supplies and most of our builders are weak. We are dyeing quickly and are losing a lot of us. We are hunting for food but we are getting no luck except for like two pieces of big meat. That still not a lot for the whole colony. Some of us are still living on the mayflower. We are having trouble with hydration because we are running out of water too. people are starting to go crazy and drinking the sea water. I'm just Waiting sickly and illnessly. I am starting to worry about our colony what if we all die than it was useless of us coming to the new land, I didn't want to waste all that time for nothing Sincerely John Pecock November 14th 1620
Dear cousin seaya We reached land! I am fine but a little sick and ill. We are all hungry and cold We've lost three people since the last post. Before we went on land we wrote a mayflower compact. It is about who will make all decisions and who will do what. Jeffery is the one who makes al the decisions, Jennifer will be the one who assign jobs to people, Victoria will fill in for the leader if he or she is absent, I will help people who are having trouble with the pilgrim logs. We will change the leader 3 every weeks and we will make another decision if we don't like the decision. Sincerely John Peacock :) November 12th 1620
Dear cousin, seaya We were in the Mayflower for about 4 months 6 days. I had to sit in a place full of strangers and sleep in the same place. It smelled so funky and gross. I had to take a ... in front of every body that I didn't know. Why did we have to sit in a cramped space, Why couldn't we sit in a separate place with not a lot of people. Oh and a person died on the boat and a baby was born and replaced him with the baby. The babys name was oceanus because he was born sailing on the water. It was not a fun trip.
