Dear Martha
Now the good weather is getting a lot better then usual. Also there is bad news. Our kids have died and many more are nothing but dead sprites killed by a plaque. Anyways, we made friends with the natives and we traded the most precious itemS on the island for trinkets. For the most precious thing on the island

Dear Martha,
Okay now we are on land and we are going to build housing, commons room etc. It was harder then it looked to build the housing and the commons house. First, we had to fell the trees and turn them into timber for buildings and fires for torches and campfire for people in the wild. Now, building the buildings is the hard part because the weather and lack of warmth made it hard to work. We eventually made the houses and got past the deadly and brutal winter and something remarkable happened. There was good weather and nothing possibly went wrong, December 1st 1620
Dear Cousin Martha, We arrived in The New World at December 1st 1620. We had not the best voyage because there were lots of storms and a lack of vision for the driver. A man had to shout directions at the driver, hurting his ears and stuff can easily go wrong on board like crashes. Also my family had to sleep with lots of strangers with no rooms or privacy. Then the captain, master and chiefs get to sleep in bigger, better rooms then us crew members. Finally the food and beverages were only wine, water, meat, fish and ingredients. After months of rough traveling we were happy and exhausted to arrive to the new world. Dear Martha,
Hi my name is Henry and I am 31 years old and married to Agnus who is 29 years old. We have 2 children James, and Edith. We left England because we wanted to be separate from England and worship God our own way. We were forced to worship their God, not the one we wanted. When we went to Holland we were not happy. There were no jobs and we couldn't worship how we wanted. Therefore we are looking forward to the New World. |
